Area rug cleaning
in Los Angeles.
Wool, silk, Persian and Oriental, antique, viscose and synthetic rugs, each identified and tested before cleaning. Cleaned in your home, or at a rug cleaning facility when a rug needs more.

Two ways to clean a rug
In your home,
or at the facility.
The right method depends on the fiber, the dyes, the backing and how soiled the rug is. We tell you which we recommend and why, before anything gets wet.
In-home rug cleaningFor many wool and synthetic rugs that need a thorough refresh: spots pre-treated, the rug cleaned with a method chosen for the fiber, and groomed. Often done on the same visit as carpet or upholstery.
Factory cleaning & restorationFor fine, delicate, antique or heavily soiled rugs, and rugs with pet accidents: washed at a rug cleaning facility, with inspection before and after.About facility cleaning

Specialty fibers
Every fiber asks for something different.
Wool is resilient but holds soil deep in the pile and can shrink or bleed if handled carelessly. Silk is strong when dry and fragile when wet, and its sheen is easily damaged by the wrong chemistry or too much agitation. Viscose and “bamboo silk” look like silk but are among the hardest rugs to clean: they weaken, yellow or lose their texture when they get too wet.
Persian, Oriental and antique rugs often have natural dyes, old repairs, or foundation wear that need to be found before cleaning, not after.
So every rug starts with an inspection and a test: fiber, dye stability, backing and existing damage. We’ll tell you honestly what cleaning can and can’t change, especially for old stains, sun fading or wear.

Moth damage
Bare patches under the sofa? Check for moths.
Clothes moth larvae feed on wool, usually in dark, undisturbed spots: under furniture, along edges, on the back of the rug. The signs are thin or bare patches, loose tufts, and fine, sandy debris or silky casings in the pile.
We inspect the rug, clean out larvae and debris, treat the affected areas and advise you on repair. Read about moth treatment.

Questions
Rug cleaning,
plainly answered.
Can you clean my rug at home?
Many wool and synthetic rugs can be cleaned well in your home. Silk, viscose, antique, very large or heavily soiled rugs are usually better cleaned at a facility. We’ll recommend one after looking at the rug, or from good photos.
Can you clean silk or viscose (“bamboo silk”) rugs?
Yes, with care. Both need low moisture, gentle handling and testing first. Viscose in particular can change texture or color if it gets too wet, so we explain the risks honestly before we start.
Will all stains come out?
Many do, but not every stain can be removed, especially old pet stains, dye bleeding or sun fading. We’ll tell you what to expect before cleaning, not after.
Do you pick up and deliver rugs?
We offer complimentary pickup and delivery for most area rug cleaning orders within our regular service areas. Additional fees may apply based on distance, rug size, weight, or special handling requirements. Contact us to confirm availability and pricing.
How much does rug cleaning cost?
It depends on size, fiber and condition. Estimates are free and the price is confirmed before any work begins. Photos of the front, back and label help us quote quickly.
